I did it myself

You'll have to blow this picture up to full size to appreciate it. It looks like Ainsley is wet. She's not. I came out of the bathroom this morning after getting ready and found that Ainsley had gotten into our greasy vapor rub. She had a stuffy nose so I had put some under her nose earlier that morning. Well, she must have decided that she needed more. Her whole face, shirt, and the front of her hair were caked with vapor rub.

Finally!!!

Owen can finally sit on his own! We have been waiting for this day for quite some time now. Ainsley was so much more content once she could sit and play and reach for toys on her own. Thankfully owen has been the same way. He will sit and play happily on his own forever.

Ainsley's Birthday

Ainsley had a lot of fun on her birthday this year. She got to go out to lunch with her dad, help decorate her cake, and she got lots of princess stuff. Sydney was staying with us that weekend so she decorated the house. Her cousins that live here came over that night for cake and ice cream. My parents were in LA that weekend for thier trade shows and were going to Disney Land on her birthday. They tried to get a princess there to tell her happy birthday over the phone, but apparantly the princesses aren't caught up with modern technology and can't use cell phones. So instead they sent her an autographed Snow White picture and a button that said Happy Birthday Ainsley. I guess when you're three it doesn't get much better than that.

In the Beginning

So... I have two friends who keep lovely and up to date blogs. One night I started looking at Karalenn's blog and was then admiring Shelly's, I thought it would be such a wonderful way to keep a record of our family. I rarely think to write things down, and I always forget to grab the camera (even for big events like Christmas and birthdays). I was contemplating trying a blog of our own. John then noticed Shelly's blog and asked why I didn't do something like that for our family. So here I go. I'm attempting to keep track of what we do for all of you to see. Hopefully this will encourage me to take more pictures as well. The only semi-complete family picture we had was this one from Christmas with everyone in their new pj's.
