Ains had a rough morning (as she often does now) and tried to smile while holding back the tears and grumpiness still present from the meltdown she had had moments before. Life with Ains is proving to be difficult lately...I wasn't expecting the crankiness and emotional-ness to start so soon!

Cute dresses! Emmie's hair looks so pretty. I seriously wish I could do cute girl hair like you (and that my girl would sit still long enough for me to do it).
I hope Quinn doesn't happen upon this comment someday, but I will say... It was about 2nd-3rd grade that she started to drive me CRAZY. So emotional and grumpy! I remember she spent a week at Burke's parents house that summer and I was relieved to have a little break from her! Horrible, I know. (Her best friend moved then too, so I think that had something to do with it.) I am happy to report now, though, that she is a pleasure to be around most of the time. She has some puberty emotional ups and downs, but I really enjoy being around her -- and now it's my current 3rd grader driving me nuts. :) So this will pass!!! Give it a few months and she'll be your wonderful, sweet, peaceful, happy Ainsley once again!
I have many memories of tear-filled, cranky photo shoots. My pictures never looked as cute as hers.
My mother in law once told me that girls cry during the entire 5th grade. I have a 6th grader now and am here to report that it is absolutely true. Ah, hormones. 6th grade is slightly better, but only just! Good luck! :)
