We do Fourth of July in style around these here parts...at least we think so!
We breakfasted...
We swam hard. (At least the kids did!)
We snacked.
We ate! (Owen snagged some raspberries from Syd before she dove into the pan of cake). 
We sparklered.
Just one though...and then we were kindly reminded that we were not allowed to sparker in the park.
And we got to see a great show downtown after some fun playing in the park.
The kids were great all day...unfortunately we are paying for their long day yesterday, today. We made them take naps in an attempt to thwart the grumpiness that typically follows holidays at our house...we failed. There have been a few too many tears shed today, and a few too many fights. Oh well, I'm sure we'll be back to normal tomorrow. Totally worth it!

Did John take that picture of the fireworks? Dad tried to but it didn't work.
John actually got a lot of cool pictures of the fireworks!
I love that you took a picture of the bike cop. I love the picture of you! I think you have always had the cutest summer maternity clothes.
