I think it's cute when babies start to develop their fine motor skills and start grabbing at things delicately, trying to pick something up using just 2 fingers instead of a whole fist. Owen is currently mastering his pincer skills with his new favorite food, Cheerios. The first time I gave him cheerios he gagged (but he gags
ALOT). Now, however, he loves them. If we put a bunch on his tray he grabs for a fistful and then tries to shove them in his mouth, successfully getting about 1-2 cheerios in. But if we hand him one at a time he very gently, calmly, and with great concentration, picks it up and sets it in his mouth.
